470,000 Veterans Face Years of Waiting for Claims Resolution

department of veterans affairsThe New York Times reports that upwards of 470,000 veterans are currently in the VA’s appeals process, some of whom face decades long delays in resolving their claim.  Most of those appeals are due to simple errors or mistakes and VA statistics show that representation by a lawyer gives a Veteran the best chance for success with an appeal.
